I have a list of chores that can be done around the house. They all have the price that I would pay them to do each one (match socks, scrub toilets, do dishes, dust, sweep the porch...) My 10 year old is wanting to earn Christmas money to buy gifts, so this works out great for me and her.
I do the same thing during school breaks and summertime. I have a chart if you want to see what chores and the amount we assigned to each.
